A review of the “stakeholder” responses served to confirm the priorities identified from the initial residents survey. Effectively, the six priorities remain; priorities for new housing, future business development in the parish, traffic control and car parking, provision of sports and leisure facilities, protecting our heritage assets and green spaces and safe guarding our school facilities and potential expansion needs.

As with most things in life, easier said than done.

The Steering Group has decided to review each priority individually and try to establish the practical options available. A review of the options for housing development is already underway. The intention is then to put the options back into the public domain for comment. How this will be done remains to be decided but would ideally be via a public meeting and a second questionnaire.

In addition to the newsletter, we are looking to increase public involvement via the Cubert NDP website and the Facebook page.
