Firstly may I say a big thank you for thinking about the future of Cubert and entering our “Get Creative Cubert” competition. It was a great opportunity for us to see exactly what makes Cubert special for you and what you’re missing the most. We have had some inspirational responses, from a wide age range with ideas including celebrating with a street party and wishing for the skate park to re-open. Every entry received has really helped to show us what the community values in Cubert.

Here we showcase the 5 winners we have chosen to represent the spread of entries we had across age ranges.

Each of these entries received a prize courtesy of Cubert Post Office and Stores, a big thank you to Helen and Lee for that.

Well done to everyone who entered, thanks again and I promise your ideas and thoughts will feed in to our Neighbourhood Development Plan.

Best wishes
Gareth Rowe

What I would like to see happen after the virus has cleared in Lanlovie Meadow, Cubert. A neighbourhood street party, to bring our community back together, to show our love and friendship to those around us, a party to celebrate our key workers, local businesses and each other and to celebrate that we got through it, together! The background photo of this photograph is actually Lanlovie Meadow.
