A Neighbourhood Development Plan is an opportunity for local people to influence the future development of their neighbourhood.

It identifies what characteristics residents value most and what design features are acceptable to the community, detailing how these should be respected in any future building work.

Without such a plan, a community may be much more vulnerable to undesirable development and less likely to meet resident’s needs over the next 10-15 years.

We want to develop a Neighbourhood Development Plan for the parish of Cubert, but first we would like to know what’s important to everyone living in the parish. Cubert Parish boundaries, our “neighbourhood”, are shown in red on the map.

If you need any further information, or have any questions or comments, please email us at info@cubertndp.co.uk or contact us by completing the form on our contact page.

Michael Crisp

Originally from Cheshire, I moved to the southwest with my wife and children in 1974. We lived in Bodmin for thirty years and then, our children having all left home, my wife and I moved to Cubert some fifteen years ago.
The majority of my working life was spent as a police officer in both Cheshire and Devon and Cornwall. I then went on to work for the Home Office for fourteen years until I retired in 2014.
Since moving to Cubert my involvement with the community has predominantly been via the Church. Both my wife and I are members of the PCC and I also act as the Treasurer.
I see the NDP Working Group as an opportunity to make a positive contribution to the development of the Parish in both the short and long term.
